WiWi Kitchen

View from the inside.
Morgan and I have been wanting to try this place since it opened. It is located in the SMU bookstore shopping center on Mockingbird and Central. Check out the link: http://wiwikitchen.com/

You walk in and order at the counter and receive a numbered card. It basically operates on the same concept of Pei Wei. I ordered edamame and vegetable pad thai. The edamame was pretty good and was decently salted. The pad thai was not the best. It lacked flavor and was a little greasy. Morgan ordered the spring rolls and chicken teriyaki. We both shared the spring rolls and liked them. They were light

and came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Morgan mentioned that the chicken was a tad rubbery. The wait staff was extremely nice, but I think they have some work to do to improve some of the cuisine. Maybe try this place in a few months after they work some kinks out.
