Herrera's Cafe

Herrera's - view from the street.

Herrera's - view from the inside.

Friday night Matt and I wanted some tasty Mexican food, so we decided to try Herrera's Cafe. Emily was bored and hungry, so she met us up there. This place was written up in National Geographic, so it HAD to be good, right?? Check out the link:
The chips and salsa were really good. You each get your own little dipping bowl, so we liked that. The menu is VERY extensive and they offer up almost anything you like. I ordered the Taco plate which came with one bean, one guac, and one cheese soft taco with a side of rice and beans. The food was really good and the tortillas were homemade! Matt ordered chicken fajitas and had no complaints-plenty of food to go around. The restaurant operates on a BYOB basis, so if you are looking for a margarita to accompany your meal, this isn't the place. But, you are more that welcome to bring in a 6'er or a bottle of wine.
