Naga Thai

We had tickets to go to the Mavs game on Sunday night, so we wanted to try Naga Thai in Victory Park. We parked the car and then headed on our journey to find the new restaurant! It is located two blocks past the W on the corner. The restaurant had modern feel, but at the same time it felt warm on a chilly night. We weren't too hungry, but definitely wanted to try out at least a couple of things on the menu. We started out with the chicken and shrimp dumplings. They were served with a bed of greens and a sweet and sour sauce. The dumplings were pretty good and the sauce added a nice compliment to the salty breading.

Then, we decided to try out a curry. The restaurant offered four different types of curry, so we asked our waiter what was the most popular curry that they had to offer. After his recommendation, we ordered the green curry with chicken. The curry had red bell peppers, chicken, and egg plant. This was all served with a side of either white or brown rice. I really liked the flavor of the curry. In the first few seconds, the curry was buttery and rich. After about 15 seconds, my mouth was on fire. The dish was good, but I wished it was slightly less spicy.

Apparently their pad thai is really good- I will have to try that next time I revisit. Overall, I think this made a pretty unique stop before the game.
