Geisha House

After a VERY long day, we decided to try Geisha House. This is located in Uptown in the Villa Rosa apartment complex. The atmosphere is really neat. It is very warm with tons of candles. You have the choice to sit in the bar, outside patio, hibachi grill, or at a regular table. We chose an inside table. The wine list is pretty extensive, and apparently their Saki list is the same as well. I had a glass of chardonnay and Emily stuck with the water. Emily initially wanted the Sea Bass, but they were out of that. So, she ordered the beef teriyaki with sauteed vegetables. She enjoyed the dish, but wasn't blown away. I had a California roll. This isn't too hard to mess up considering it is pretty basic ingredients, but I didn't care for it . It was a little fishy. To end the meal, we decided that we needed something sweet. However, they were out of all desserts. Overall, we were disappointed! They were out of some of the main things that we typically enjoy. I think they have a few kinks to work out before they will draw a large crowd. At least they have the atmosphere to pull them through!
